I have a building that has a sprinkler system but the heads are above the ceiling tiles in the offices. Has anyone come across this? I’m looking for some cost effective ways or suggestions to remedy this issue for the building owner. Is there a specific OFC I can reference for this?

The sprinkler heads need to be extended below the drop ceiling if the tiles are not burnable tiles, If the above area is wood or class A product you may need to install upright heads above the ceiling as well. If the ceiling tiles are burnable then the sprinkler heads are good where they are at.
