2016 NEOFPA Coloring Contest

NEOFPA announces our fourth annual fire safety coloring contest.

The contest is open to third graders in schools within Northeast Ohio and will run from September 4 through October 21, 2016. The theme for the contest is “Photoelectric Smoke Alarms: Need ’em, Get ’em, Check ’em”! and features Earl Lee Warning, our photoelectric smoke alarm character.

All Northeast Ohio safety forces are encouraged to present the contest to the third grades in the schools within their jurisdictions.

The contest materials and rules can be downloaded below. (Please include all documents & brochures in the folder when creating a packet for each school). A winning student will be chosen from each school and will receive Earl Lee Warning bumper stickers. The grand prize winning student will receive a pizza party for their entire third grade delivered by their local Fire Department! Members from NEOFPA, their local safety forces and the media will also be on hand for the award presentation.

This year we are again awarding the departments who distributed the top three winning entries! The department who distributed the first place winning entry receives one free All-Inclusive Membership for 2017, the second place department receives one free regular membership for 2017, and the third-place department receives one free seminar registration for 2017. Pass out those coloring contests packets and good luck!
