The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office has released the final report of the Ohio Smoke Alarm Advisory Task Force. Fire prevention professionals and fire officials throughout the state and around the globe are extremely upset with the report. The report lacks a progressive approach to the residential smoke alarm issues. The report is also inconsistent with the position of NEOFPA and NFPA 72 2010 edition.
